This research studies about the use of prepositions in the Holy Bible of King James Version. The source of this research is the Holy Bible in the book of Mark chapter 4 and 8. The writer used the theory of Jayanthi Dakshina Murthy. A preposition is a word placed before a noun or pronoun to show its relation to some other word in the sentence. The research used qualitative research. After analyzing the book of Mark of the Holy Bible, the writer found that preposition of place or position is the most dominant in the book of Mark of the Holy Bible. The writer suggests students or readers to read English Holy Bible more frequently to improve their English and understanding the word of God.
