Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas dan pelaksanaan safety induction di PT Adaro Indonesia tahun 2013 berdasarkan 4 level evaluasi Model Theory Kirkpatrick, yang dilihat dari tingkat pengetahuan, persepsi, perilaku, dan dampak yang dihasilkan. Pelaksanaan yang efektif, dapat dilihat dari pencapaian minimal 2 level evaluasi Model Theory Kirkpatrick. Peneliti melakukan penyebaran kuesioner untuk melihat tingkat pengetahuan dan persepsi pekerja. Sementara, peneliti melakukan observasi untuk melihat perilaku pekerja. Sebagian besar pelaksanaan safety induction di PT Adaro Indonesia sudah efektif. Namun untuk aktivitas pekerjaan di workshop dan site kelanis, belum memberikan hasil yang efektif terhadap pelaksanaan safety induction yang dilakukan.
This research is to study about the effectiveness and implementation of safety induction at PT. Adaro Indonesia 2013 based on 4 levels of evaluation from Kirkpatrick’s Theory Model, which is considering the knowledge degree, perception, behavior, and the results. The effective implementation can be understood from completing minimum 2 levels of Kirkpatrick’s Theory Model. Researcher broadcasted some questionnaires to find out the knowledge degree of workers. Meanwhile, researcher did the observation towards their behaviors. In general, the implementation of safety induction is effective enough. In spite of that, the activities among workers at workshop and site Kelanis have not shown the effective result towards the implementation of safety induction, yet.
