ABSTRAKTesis ini memfokuskan pada Perlindungan Hak Cipta Terkait Dengan DistribusiKarya Sinematografi (Studi Kasus: Peluncuran Film X-Men Origins: Wolverine DanAyat-Ayat Cinta). Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, pada saat ini distribusikarya sinematografi banyak yang menyimpang. Dimana terdapat banyak karyasinematografi yang didistribusikan dengan tidak memenuhi hukum yang berlaku,dikarenakan tidak adanya pengaturan hukum yang tegas mengenai hal tersebut. Daripenelitian ini, para produser sebagai pemegang hak cipta atas karya sinematografidapat mengetahui pentingnya perjanjian lisensi dalam hal distriusi karyanya dan jugahak terkait sehubungan dengan para pelaku yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam karyatersebut.

ABSTRACTThis thesis focuses on the Protection of Copyright Related to the Distribution of WorkCinematography (Case Study: Launching Movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine AndAyat-Ayat Cinta). Along with the development of technology, the current distributionof cinematographic works much distorted. Where there are a lot of cinematographicworks are distributed to not meet the applicable law, because there is no strict legalregulation on the matter. From this research, the producers as the holder of thecopyright in a cinematographic work to determine the importance of the licenseagreement in terms of the distribution of his work and related rights in connectionwith the actors who participated in the work.
