Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup anak leukemia limfositik akut yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilakukan pada 25 anak secara consecutive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan PedsQLTM 4.0 Generic Core Scale, PedsQLTM 3.0 Cancer Module, dan peran perawat (Cronbach α = 0,90). Hasil menunjukkan terdapat hubungan fase kemoterapi dan peran perawat dengan kualitas hidup generic dan cancer module (p<0,05). Peran perawat merupakan faktor prediktor kualitas hidup generic dan cancer module. Dengan demikian diperlukan upaya peningkatan peran perawat melalui pendidikan pelatihan terkait manajemen kemoterapi dan efek sampingnya.

This study was aimed to determine factors that associated with quality of life of acute lymphoblastic leukemia children who undergoing chemotherapy in Dr. M. Djamil Hospital Padang. The quantitative study with cross sectional approach was done to 25 children by consecutive sampling. Data collection was using PedsQLTM 4.0 Generic Core Scale, PedsQLTM 3.0 Cancer Module, and nurse's role (Cronbach α = 0,90). The results revealed that there was a relationship between chemotherapy phase and nurse's role with generic and cancer module quality of life (p<0,05). Nurse's role was a predominant factor of generic and cancer module quality of life. Thus, it is necessary to increase role of nurse by giving education about treatment and management of chemotherapy side effects.
