Human error tidak dapat dihilangkan, namun dapat diminimalisir. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh tahap tugas yang dapat menyebabkan atau di prediksi menyebabkan kesalahan transaksi dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Human Error Reduction and Prediction Approach (SHERPA). Sebagai input dari metode SHERPA dilakukan Hierarchical Task Analysis (HTA) untuk mengetahui tahap tugas transaksi teller. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, semua tahap tugas transaksi dapat menyebabkan kesalahan namun yang paling kerap terjadi dengan tingkat kekritisan masalah yang tinggi adalah tahap menghitung uang.
